17th Eusko Ikaskuntza Congress.
Innovation for sustainable social progress

1. THEMES

Eight dimensions have been selected as from the analysis of indicators used to measure progress at a macro-world and regional levels and micro-local levels. Some of these dimensions are still considered emergent. As from these as dimensions, the idea is to reflect in order to widen and specify both the notion of progress and its practice in the Basque Country. One consequence of the 17th Congress could be the establishment of new indicators, and/or reinforce some of the indicators that can currently be considered as emergent.

2. OBJECTIVES

1. To gather, reflect, promote and generate a conscience of innovation for sustainable social progress.
2. Facilitate interdisciplinary activities, intergenerational dialogue, equality of opportunities, linguistic diversity and the presence of new languages.
3. Encouraging innovation is among the theoretical and practical proposals, and encouraging innovation is also within the very way in which proposals are to be presented. Encouraging innovation thus becomes a transversal line of the Congress.
4. Promoting an ample and diverse participation of people or social agents who wish to participate in the work promoted as from within Eusko Ikaskuntza as well as of all the members of this entity.
5. Propitiate the emergence of contextualised ideas and practices that would enrich the diversity of tasks carried out within Eusko Ikaskuntza.

3. PUBLIC TARGETTED
