The following specific contracting conditions are applied to all the commercial transactions carried out in our website, WWW.EUSKOSHOP.COM, a dominion that belongs to EUSKO IKASKUNTZA / BASQUE STUDIES SOCIETY (EI/BSS)
EI/BSS reserves the right to modify the commercial offer of the website (modifications on products, prices, promotions and other commercial and service conditions) at any time, although such modifications are not to be applied to previously carried out transactions.
EI/BSS makes every effort within its means to offer the information contained in the website in a truthful manner and without typing mistakes. In case a mistake of this type were to occur, against EI/BSS’s will, such a mistake would be corrected immediately. If there were to be a typing mistake in any of the prices shown and a customer were to have taken the decision to carry out a purchase based on such a mistake, EI/BSS will communicate the mistake to the customer, who will be entitled to carry out the purchase without any extra costs.
The contents of the WWW.EUSKOSHOP.COM website may, occasionally, show provisional information on the nature of certain products. If the information provided were not to correspond to the characteristics of the product, the customer is entitled to carry out the purchase without any extra costs.
EI/BSS is not responsible, directly or indirectly, in any manner for the quality, safety or reliability of the products commercialised by WWW.EUSKOSHOP.COM. The manufacturers or distributors are at all times responsible for such products. The customer understands that EI/BSS is a mere intermediary between him or her and the mentioned manufacturer or distributor.
1. System of sales through the Internet
In order to carry out a purchase, the user should add into his/her “shopping cart” the articles he/she wishes to acquire and follow the purchasing steps defined in our website. Once this process is finalised, including the process of website registry to identify the purchaser, the order is telematically sent to EI/BSS for processing. If the customer chooses the option detailed in the website, he/she will receive confirmation via e-mail to inform him/her that the order has been placed. These general contracting conditions are applicable reference to the orders placed.
2. Applicable taxes
The prices shown in the EI/BSS website, include the Value Added Tax (VAT) that is applicable in each case.
Purchases carried out by private individuals living in European Union Member States will be subjected to VAT. Purchases carried out by those people designated as not to be subjected to VAT in the European Union Member States will be exempted from such taxation.
Purchases carried out by individuals or associations or companies established in countries that are not members of the European Union, or in the Canaries or in Ceuta and Melilla will be exempted from VAT.
3. Form of payment
When placing the order, the customer may freely choose to pay the purchases he/she carries out by bank transfer or other analogous means. In certain cases, in order to prevent possible cases of fraud, EI/BSS reserves the possibility to ask a customer for a determined means of payment if the identity of the purchaser has not been solidly established.
4. Form of payment and postage expenses
EI/BSS sends the orders to its customers through the TOURLINE transport company or through the POST, and customer’s choice. The delivery date and the customer’s address will depend on the availability of the chosen product and the region to which it is to be sent. Delivery times and commitments together with current tariffs are available in the section of our website titled Costs and shipment.
5. Buyer’s rights and return and refund policy
The customer has 15 days as from the date of reception of the order to cancel the contract and return a quiet product. The customer will then communicate to EI/BSS within the established period, and by any means admitted by law, his her desire to exercise the right to return the goods as stipulated in the contract. The order will then be picked up by EI/BSS and should be returned to together with the delivery note and, if applicable, the invoice issued by EI/BSS if the returned product is defective, EI/BSS, will also cover the cost of the change or reparation (except in those cases in which the product acquired through the Web includes this type of problem in the manufacturer’s guarantee in which case the customer will have to follow the procedure and conditions stipulated by the manufacturer therein).
The customer may return any article purchased in the EI/BSS website if and when products have not been opened or used and have their original wrapping and seals. In these cases, EI/BSS, will returned the money of the purchase by bank transfer to an account indicated by the customer.
If a different product from that ordered by the customer were to be delivered by mistake by EI/BSS, the delivered product will be withdrawn and correct product delivered without any additional cost for the buyer.

6. Obligations of the user and/or customer
The user and/or customer of WWW.EUSKOSHOP.COM is fully committed to facilitating truthful information on the data included in the user register form, and to updating such information whenever appropriate.
The user and/or customer is also committed to diligently maintaining any personal usernames and passwords to our website confidential.
In those cases in which the sale or commercialisation of products from our website require the buyer to have a certain age in accordance with the legislation in force in his/her country of origin, the buyer explicitly states that he/she fulfils such requisites in order to carry out the purchase.

EI/BSS guarantees the security and confidentiality of all its communications with its customers.
All online payment operations at carried out through a secure server, based on the SSL standard that protects data against any attempts of misappropriation by third parties.
EI/BSS guarantees the protection and confidentiality of personal, addresses, payment and any other type of data provided by customers in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, dated 13th December on Personal Data Protection.
All the data provided by customers to EI/BSS or to its employees, will be included in a personal data base created and maintained under the responsibility of EI/BSS in accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, dated 13th December, EUSKOSHOP.COM customers may, at any time, exercise their rights to access, rectifying, cancellation and opposition on their personal data by communicating this intention in writing to EI/BSS, denda@eusko-ikaskuntza.org. In all cases, the EI/BSS Privacy Policy will be applicable.
8. Applicable Legislation and competent jurisdiction
All trading carried out with EI/BSS is subjected to Spanish legislation.
In case of conflict or discrepancy, the applicable jurisdiction will be that of the tribunals of Donostia/San Sebastian (Spain) unless there is a legal provision that forbids such jurisdiction.
