The first two issues appeared as offprints of the Cuadernos de Sección. Historia-Geografía 2 (1984) and of the RIEV, T. XXXII nº 1 (1987). They have been published as monographs as from issue n° three. The collection provides bibliography, documentation and places where researchers of the history of the Basque Country can find the relevant and adequate documentation about the period or subject being studied. They are coordinated by Juan Carlos Jiménez de Aberásturi.
